Thermostable, recombinant DNA polymerase from Thermus thermophilus, exhibing reverse transcriptase acvity. Catalyzes polymerization of DNA in the presence of Mg2+ and catalyzes the reverse transcription of RNA to cDNA in the presence of Mn2+.
Suitable for PCR, RT-PCR, reverse transcription and primer extension reactions at elevated temperature. Resistant to amplification inhibitors present in template DNA isolated from problematic samples. Recommended to use in PCR reactions containing problematic secondary structures.
