6 x Loading Buffer BLUE is used to load DNA samples on agarose or polyacrylamide gels and to track DNA migration during electrophoresis. The buffer contains glycerol, EDTA, Xylene Cyanol and Bromophenol Blue. The glycerol increases density of sample to facilitate gel loading. EDTA inhibits metal dependent nucleases.
