Blue SG qPCR Master Mix (2x) is a universal solution for quantitative real-time PCR and two-step real-time RT-PCR that runs on most real-time cyclers. It combines antibody-mediated hot-start Perpetual Taq DNA Polymerase with SYBR Green I detection and a non-reactive blue tracking dye that makes pipetting into tubes and plates easy to monitor. Partial replacement of dTTP with dUTP allows the optional use of uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG) to prevent carryover contamination. This catalog number is the variant supplied without ROX, ideal for instruments that do not require a passive reference dye.
