Blue SG qPCR Master Mix (2x), plus ROX Solution offers the same robust SYBR Green I chemistry as E0414 — Perpetual Taq hot-start polymerase, optional UNG carryover protection and a blue pipetting-tracking dye — with a separately supplied ROX passive reference dye. The included ROX Solution lets you fine-tune the reference signal for instruments that require it, such as Applied Biosystems cyclers (and optionally Stratagene), compensating for well-to-well fluorescence variation. It is the recommended choice whenever a passive reference dye is needed.
