Lyticase is 1,3-β-Glucan glucohydrolase from Arthrobacter luteus for lysis of the fungal cell wall. Recommended to be used in DNA purification kits (Bacterial & Yeast Genomic DNA Purification Kit E3580) and RNA purification kits (Universal RNA Purification Kit E3598 and Universal DNA/RNA/Protein Purification Kit E3597). Lyticase is suspended in the storage buffer and is ready to use (5 U / μl, 20 mM Tris pH 8.0, 50 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol). Add 50 U (10 μl) of lyticase to the lysis buffer per one DNA/RNA preparation according to the manual provided with DNA/RNA purification kit.
